Q: Who are Minicab2airport?
A: We are a specialist private transfer minicab service, ground transfers if you wish, we provide travellers with a vehicle and a driver to transport them to or from UK Airports, Cruise ports, London Hotels or any UK Postal Code. This is NOT a shared service, the vehicle is for your sole use.
Q: Are you a licensed Private Hire Operator?
A: Yes, we are fully licensed by the Public Carriage Office which is the division of the Mayor’s Office that governs the Private Hire industry in London. Our license number is 5060
Q: Are your drivers licensed?
A: Yes, all of our drivers are licensed by the Public Carriage Office and have gone through extensive in-house training to ensure their knowledge of driving, safety, customer service and our technology is the best in the industry.
Q: Which airports do you service?
A: The majority of London Airports, with a meet and greet service.
Q: What type of service do you provide?
A: Tell us where and when you want to go, and we will get you there. We have many different types of vehicle and they are all provided with polite and helpful licensed PCO drivers.
Q: How easy is it to book a car with you?
A: Very! All you do is tell us: how many passengers and luggage you have. It's done!!! Its as easy as one, two, three !!!
Q: What area do you cover?
A: We can provide service in most parts of the UK, but if for any reason we can't we probably know someone who can. Our aim is to enhance the service that we provide, so be rest assured we will go that extra mile to provide you with as much as we can.
Q: How long have you been providing a private transfer service?
A: We have been providing a private transfer service since 10 years. Our management team between them has over 10 years of experience in passenger logistics. Our aim is to provide a service that is second to none. Our drivers are licence and approved by Transport for London Public Carriage Office.
Q: What type of vehicles do you have?
A: We have access to a vast range of vehicles from Saloon Cars to Minivan, Executive Cars (such as Mercedes E-Class, Audi A6 or BMW 5-Series), VIP Vechicle (such as Mercedes S-Class, Audi A8 or BMW 7- Series). To view vehicles click on the online booking page and fill in the details, then it would show you the types of vehicles we provide.
Q: How can I pay for this service?
A: We accept cash & all major credit cards as payment (credit card payments are subject to a processing fee). However if booking online, then there are no credit card processing fees. We also accept PayPal and Google checkout payments.
Q: What if my flight is delayed? Will I be charged extra?
A: We monitor flight arrivals before any drivers are dispatched, as a result we do NOT charge you any extra if your flight is delayed.
Q: Where do I meet my driver when I land at the airport?
A: The Meeting Point is detailed in the booking process and is also stated in the email confirmation. The Meeting Point for the Heathrow Airport is AIRPORT INFORMATION DESK in the Arrivals Hall at Terminal 1 to Terminal 4, and Costa café for Terminal 5. Otherwise for other airports such as Gatwick and Stansted Airport, the meeting point is AIRPORT INFORMATION DESK, unless otherwise advised. Furthermore for Luton Airport the Pickup point is at WHSMITH SHOP in the Arrivals Hall. However the meeting point for the London City Airport is OUTSIDE THE TERMINAL, unless advised for another pickup location.
Q: Where do I meet my driver when the Pickup is from a Hotel?
A: For the hotel pick-up, the driver will meet the customers by the reception area of the hotel.
Q: Where do I meet my driver when the Pickup is from a Cruise Terminal?
A: The meeting point for the Cruise Terminal Pick Up is outside the cruise but if the passenger has made an arrangement with our company or driver personally then that will be the meeting point.
Q: Where do I meet my driver when the Pickup is from a Station?
A: The meeting point would be at the information desk of the station unless othawise advised another meeting point.
Q: What if I cannot locate my driver?
A: Call our 24 hours support line on +44 (0) 8450212399 quoting your transfer booking reference number or your name and our experienced staff will be able to assist.
Q: Do you operate a fixed price policy?
A:Majority (100%) of our customers do not pay more than the quoted price, in that sense yes we operate a fixed price policy. Credit or debit card payment may incur a processing fee.
Q: Are your prices per car or per person?
A: We do NOT provide a shared service. Our vehicles are sole use vehicles, our prices are per vehicle. Please see Vehicle capacity for further details.
Q: How early do I need to book my car?
A: We can provide service within 15 minutes sometimes, but the earlier you book the better, 12 hours would be recommended. If you are making a last minute booking it is best to phone +44 (0) 8450212399, lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Q: Do I have to book online? Can I speak to someone?
A: Our online booking process is clear and easy to understand. But if you prefer to speak to one of our agents you can make a booking on the phone via our reservations line on: +44(0)8450212399, lines are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Please Note: The prices may vary from online prices, if booking over the phone.
Q: Can I make a booking if the party consists of more than 8 passengers?
A: We can cater for any number of passengers 1 - 100 or even more if necessary, please use the get quotation form and ensure that you include the number of passengers in your party and full details of your journey.
Q: Will you meet us at any time of day?
A: Yes we provide a 24 hour service. We will meet you at any time of day and there is no extra charge for unsocial hours. The only time we charge extra is at the Christmas period normally - Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.
Q: What if the flight is delayed or early?
A: We work on the basis of scheduled arrival times, we do monitor all flights and there are no additional charges if your flight is delayed.
Q: Are there any additional costs?
A: After the free 45 minutes have expired their would be a charge of 30 pence per minute plus additional parking fee. Diversions - Minimum charge 10.00 GBP Extra Passengers or Luggage - Vehicle Upgrade charge
Q: Do I need to pay in advance?
A: No you do not need to pay in advance. You may pay cash to the driver after the journey is completed.
Q: Can I cancel my booking?
A: Yes, you can cancel a booking. Please contact our 24/7 Helpdesk on +44 (0) 8450212399. Terms and Conditions Apply.
Q: What happens if my flight is cancelled?
A: Contact us as soon as possible on +44 (0) 8450212399. We will have monitored the flight and as a result we will not have dispatched a driver. Your transfer booking will be placed on HOLD for 24 hours, during which you can rebook your transfer at no extra cost.
Q: What if I miss my flight?
A: Contact us as soon as possible on +44 (0) 8450212399. We will have monitored the flight as a result we will have dispatched a driver. If you fail to inform us and the driver is dispatched our terms and conditions will apply upon which you will incur a full "No Show" charge. If however you inform us prior to the dispatch of the driver we will place your transfer order on HOLD for 24 hours during which you are able to re-book at no extra charge.
Q: What happens if my flight is diverted to another airport?
A: Contact us as soon as possible on +44 (0) 8450212399. We will not dispatch the driver to the other airport until you or the passenger have authorised us to do so. Additional mileage charges may be incurred.
Q: How can I get a receipt?
A: you can obtain a receipt from your driver at the time of payment or if you have paid online then you will receive by email.
